Melissa P. Tanguay Melissa P. Tanguay is an associate with Abom & Kutulakis, L.L.P. She represents Cumberland County Children and Youth Services as an Assistant Solicitor, and she focuses her practice in the areas of general civil law, family law and juvenile law. Melissa is a 2009 graduate of The Penn State Dickinson School of Law. She began working for Abom & Kutulakis as a law clerk in the summer of 2008, where she gained valuable experience in the areas of juvenile law, family law, criminal law and general civil law. As a Certified Legal Intern under the supervision of Attorney Kutulakis, Melissa represented Dauphin County Social Services for Children and Youth in Juvenile Court proceedings. While in law school, Melissa worked as a judicial intern in the chambers of the Honorable Todd A. Hoover of the Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas. She was also a Certified Legal Intern for The Penn State Dickinson School of Law’s Children’s Advocacy Clinic. Melissa represented numerous children as a Guardian Ad Litem in dependency and custody actions in Cumberland County during her time at the Children’s Advocacy Clinic. Upon her graduation from The Penn State Dickinson School of Law, Melissa was honored with the Joseph Leyburn Kramer Award for academic excellence, adherence to strict ethical standards, fidelity and loyalty to fellow students and the profession and involvement in extracurricular activities. Melissa was also recognized as a Public Interest Advocate for providing pro-bono legal services to the community during law school.
