Michelle L. Sommer

Michelle is an associate attorney with Abom & Kutulakis, L.L.P., and practices in the area of criminal defense, as well as in the area of family law.

She represents clients in all areas of criminal law ranging from traffic offenses to felonies throughout Pennsylvania in both the state and federal court system. While practicing in the area of family law she represents clients in divorce, separation, custody, support, premarital agreements, adoption, involuntary termination of parental rights, paternity issues, name change, dependency and legal guardianship.

Prior to joining the firm, Michelle was Special Assistant to the Democratic Whip, Representative Mike Veon, of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1994 to 2001. Upon graduating from Widener University School of Law in 2004, she accepted a position as an Assistant District Attorney with York County. While a Deputy Prosecutor she had the opportunity to argue before the Pennsylvania Superior Court.

Michelle is a native of South Central Pennsylvania and currently resides in New Cumberland.
